Booster pump system is automatic water supply system that lets you eliminate the traditional water tank on the roof of your building. The system feeds water with consistent pressure directly from underground water reservoir to the system users; the system consists of several numbers of pumps and an Inverter control panel that controls the number of pumps to run based on system discharge flow rate.
The control panel is the core part of the booster pump system. We, Hwrang System, have been specialized for the design and production of the control panel for the booster pump system.
The system senses the momentary system discharge flow rate by using P.T, a type of pressure detecting sensor, or P.S, a type of pressure switch. As the system discharge flow rate increases, the control panel receives the flow rate data from the pressure detecting sensor or the pressure switch, and simultaneously commands more pumps to run one by one in order until system operating pressure reaches up to system setting pressure. As system discharge flow rate drops, the control panel automatically commands the pumps running to stop in order.
The last pump in stopping order won't stop pumping until a diaphragm type pressure tank becomes pressurized. When only small amount of feed water is needed, the system supplies water from the diaphragm tank without running pumps.
This significantly reduces pump start/stop frequency, resulting in maximizing the system lifespan as well as minimizing the overall system power consumption.
The control system also provides "Alternation control method" that varies start/stop order of each pump in system operating sequence.
The concept of this function is to operate all the pumps in a system for equal period of time. With this function, you can avoid overuse of particular pump, and system maintenance cost will be optimized by maximizing lifetime of each pump.
